Norley Tabares (2005)
Tabares was an integral part of CCRI’s men’s soccer team from 1984-86. In his first season, he helped the team compile a 17-5 record and reaching the finals of the New England Championship. In that same season, he was selected as All-New England second team. The next season was just as successful, if not better; Tabares helped lead the team to a 15-3 season, a national ranking in the top 10, and made it to the New England Championship final again. That 1985 team that he was on holds the record for most goals in a season (93) and most consecutive wins (13). Tabares became NSCAA All-American and All-New England first team in his final season.
