Frank Szymkowicz (1987)

One of the finest golfers for CCRI was Szymkowicz.  He was MVP in 1973 and 1974.  In 1974, he became the New England Junior College Individual Champion, was selected for the All-New England First Team, as well as leading the team to the New England Team Championship.  After graduating from CCRI, Szymkowicz went to golf for the University of Rhode Island and while he was there, he was the New England Tournament Runner-up.  He became a professional golfer in 1977, winning tournaments throughout the United States and South America.
